Design & Story
Nearly 100 years after production date, this is an impressive example of a original PH chandelier still with all 9 amber glass pendants intact, without cracks or missing shades. Amber shades are probably the most popular PH glass color, which makes this piece even more rare.
The name "Bombardements chandelier” comes from Poul Henningsen's humorous use of the word "bombardment" to describe the lamp's impressive, almost overwhelming shape and many light sources that shine out in many directions like a cascade of light.
Three-story bombardment chandelier made of brass was catalogued from 1933 and made in models from 3 all the way to 21 lampshade sets size 1/1.
